Diamond Ortiz is mentored by the best blues, funk and rock players in the bay (including members of the Family Stone and Funkadelic). Gabe is a former member of SF bands Stymie and The Pimp Jones, P- Nut and the Apocalypse, Roux, Zulu Spear and many others. A veteran guitar virtuoso, he been able to play entire Hendrix and SRV albums note for note since he was 12. Jeremy is a monster bass player and multi-instrumentalist (keys, drums beats, guitar and vocals). He is deeply versed and trained in blues and classic rock, and then on down to funk and reggae.

Super funky blues prodigies and veterans of the Bay Area club scene since youth, Diamond Ortiz gig regularly around the bay at such venues as the Fillmore, 12 Galaxies, 19 Broadway, Sweetwater and Independent. They've done the Viper Room and had crowds chanting their name at the Roxy in LA, and spent a year in Thailand where they brought live music to the world famous full moon parties. They also spent time gigging in Nashville TN and all over CA, NV and OR. Now, with shows at Knitting Factory, Roxy,Viper Room, and the Cat Club they're takin over LA too. Geared towards all music listeners, fans of rock, hip-hop, indy, dance, and blues can dig their sound.
