Jordan Mamone, writing for Time Out NY, put it all together when
he said that Enablers "deftly rewrite the book" of spoken
word music. Backed by what Beth Lisick of SF Gate calls "possibly
the world's best power trio," Pete Simonelli's words take on
new dimensions. Pete has been continually writing and publishing
his efforts in underground literary journals for years and now brings
his poems to the table for Enablers.
On guitar and behind the mixing board in Joe Goldring. Joe has
collaborated with Swans, Toiling Midgets and Doug Scharin under
the moniker Out in Worship, as well as with Neurosis' Steve Von
Till's solo projects.
Kevin Thomson has been playing and touring for twenty years with
his own projects and has been a writing partner with Goldring for
twelve of those years, collaborating on Morning Champ, Touched by
a Janitor, and now Enablers.
Yuma Joe Byrnes, on drums, has lent his unique take on the trapset
to Tarnation, Broken Hearts, and others.
