Johnny Butt and the Badfish grew out of a chance meeting of members from the bands Mind Riot and March Avenue at a Battle of the Bands in 2006. Chris and Emilio had a mutual admiration for each other’s crafts and when Mind Riot was invited to appear on Chris’ radio show, the North Bay Underground, a dialog began.

Born out of a love for the music of Sublime and a lust for performance, Emilio and Chris began to plot a new project, with the aid of Mind Riot guitarist Ryan and his long time friend and jamming partner, Jake on bass, Johnny Butt and the Badfish was formed on April 29th of 2007.

With the tight and polished sound of Sublime they are ready to bring the party vibes to your bar, club, wedding, private party, festival, or street fair. The recognizable songs and lyrics will have the crowds dancing and singing along at the top of their lungs.
